Now, it's up and awake and chipper, and running better than ever! I just installed Windows 7 on it, and after reformatting the drive from Vista, plus installing all the programs after putting on the new OS, it was clear that the PC was just wiped out! I think during the night sometimes I'm going to even shut it down that way it can really get some deep, much-needed rest and be ready to go for the next day. I fixed the problem by letting it sleep a good 10 hours. By pressing Delete when the computer starts, and entering the BIOS, the PC can be set. I understand now that sometimes my computer needs to decide whether it needs more sleep than I think it does. Start the computer from the keyboard instead of the case power button. I finally realized that that's not fair at all. Sometimes I was even having it stay up while I went to bed. I was having a similar problem until I found out the real reason: my computer wasn't coming out of sleep because I've been keeping it up too late at night. ![]() ![]() I press the power button and the computer comes on but no picture on my screen - it's like the signal doesn't transfer to my screen! Anyone have the same problem where your computer will not wake up after sleep mode. ![]()
